2011/003: New Signatory to the Aquatic Warbler MOU

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Conservation Measures for the Aquatic Warbler (Acrocephalus paludicola) is pleased to inform you that:

Switzerland signed the Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Conservation Measures for the Aquatic Warbler (Acrocephalus paludicola) at the CMS COP10 in Bergen, Norway on 21 November 2001.

The MOU has been in effect since 30 April 2003. For Switzerland the MOU entered into effect on the date of signature.

This brings the total number of Signatories to 16, as of 1 December 2011.
